Haunted Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast

One of America’s most haunted lighthouses, which had six ghosts, including Wiliam Prior, the first keeper, is a bed and breakfast. Situated on Lake Superior, in Michigan, tbe Big Bay Point Lighthouse has a history of being one of the most haunted lighthouses in the US. There was a lot of poltergeistic activity at the light, and the owner and proprietor, Linda Gamble, supposedly got mad one day when one of the former keepers kept slamming the kitchen cupboards. She told him to get out, and insulted, the ghost (and the other five) left the building and haven’t been back since.

The site is located here if anyone is interested in staying there. I have no connection to the site, have never been there, but would certainly love to spend a few nights there. The rooms are lovely, and reasonably priced, and there are sauna and massage services available. The hot stone massage with stones from Lake Superior sounds great.
